Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Librarian: Graduation with Post Graduate Diploma in Library Science or Bachelor/Master's Degree in Library Science, along with 3 years' experience as Library Attendant or on a higher post in the related field in any reputed organization including a public institution. Peon: Matriculation from a recognized Board. Mali: Matriculation from a recognized Board and 3 years' experience in gardening, etc. Cook-cum-Attendant: Matriculation from a recognized Board and 3 years' experience in cooking in a Government undertaking or reputed hotel. Preference is given to persons acquainted with local customs and dialects for Cook-cum-Attendant. Candidates must be Indian Nationals and possess the prescribed qualifications and other requirements.

Selection Process

Librarian: Competitive examination/written test and final merit based on marks obtained in the written test. Peon, Mali and Cook-cum-Attendant: Candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 for Evaluation/Document Verification based on marks obtained in Matriculation and evaluation criteria; final merit is based on educational qualification and evaluation. The High Court may conduct Screening/Proficiency/Written Tests where applicable.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the High Court of Himachal Pradesh recruitment portal at hphcrecruitment.in or through the relevant recruitment link provided on the High Court website. Candidates must upload the required photograph, signature, Matriculation certificate, ID proof and other applicable certificates/documents and pay the examination fee online before the closing date.
