Educational Qualification & Eligibility

For Junior Assistant: Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Law from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent degree, along with knowledge or qualification in computer operation. For Typist-Cum-Assistant: Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Law from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent degree; must have passed Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in Higher Grade in English with a speed of 45 w.p.m.; if Higher Grade is not available, Typewriting Lower Grade in English will be considered; must also have knowledge or qualification in computer operations. Candidates must possess the prescribed educational/technical qualifications as on the date of notification.

Selection Process

Junior Assistant: OMR-based objective examination for 80 marks followed by oral interview/viva-voce for 20 marks. Typist-Cum-Assistant: OMR-based objective examination for 40 marks, followed by English Typewriting Skill Test for 40 marks and oral interview/viva-voce for 20 marks. Candidates qualifying in the examination are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 for certificate verification and interview.

Eligible candidates must submit the prescribed application form by Registered Post/Courier only from 09-09-2026 to 30-09-2026 up to 05:00 PM. Applications must be addressed to the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Nyaya Seva Sadan, District Court Premises, Mahabubnagar. Applications will not be received directly.
