Educational Qualification & Eligibility
LLB qualification; Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council; experience at Bar handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts; unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by the Government of India; and minimum 10 years' standing as an Advocate for consideration as CBI Special Public Prosecutor. Experience in conducting trials of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 is a mandatory pre-condition.
